Umowę w sprawie dotacji podpisał wojewoda Włodzimierz Wójcik i dyrekcja Naukowej i Akademickiej Sieci Komputerowej w Warszawie. Projekt dotyczy budowy sieci radiowej; dzięki temu tańszy i łatwiej dostępny internet będzie docierał do mieszkańców regionu św. za pomocą fal radiowych.
Wartość projektu to ponad 7 mln 600 tys zł, dofinansowanie wynosi ponad 3 mln. Pieniądze pochodzą ze Zintegrowanego Programu Operacyjnego Rozwoju Regionalnego.
